Brian Gammon is a healthcare consultant with over 15 years of professional experience, including 10 years of clinical, operational, administrative and consulting roles in healthcare. His expertise includes electronic medical records, clinical documentation, clinical workflow analysis, audit trails, metadata, data analysis, process improvement and project management. Brian has worked in a variety of healthcare IT roles including directing high-visibility EMR projects at major health systems, developing nursing software products inside the digital incubator of a global healthcare tech company, and providing advisory and strategic guidance to large healthcare systems as well as early stage healthcare startups.Brian’s clinical background is in intensive care nursing and has worked at leading academic and community hospitals across the country including Duke University Medical Center, Stanford ValleyCare Hospital and El Camino Hospital.
He is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for Nursing Informatics, and has earned a Masters in Nursing Informatics and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duke University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from Michigan State University.
